The Ghani Welfare Foundation is a registered non-profit organization which was started in February 2011 with an aim to educate the underprivileged children of Pakistan and provide them with equal opportunities.
At GWF, we aspire to empower these underprivileged children to reach their full potential, so that they can build a better future for themselves through education and contribute to the sustainable development of their community.
Our efforts are focused on providing quality education, eradicating child labour and encouraging women empowerment to create meaningful sustainable change in society.
After successful implementation of our projects in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Ghani Welfare Foundation has directly or indirectly been able to create difference in the lives of 250+ children, 250+ families and 15+ teachers.
In 2011, when Ghani Welfare Foundation launched its welfare school, it admitted 30 children in Nursery. Thanks to generous donations of local community, GWF has managed to expand its outreach and since 2011, it has reached more than 250 families. With a team of 15 faculty members at its school, it has been providing free education at an excellent standard to over 250 children from underprivileged backgrounds. Mindful of the importance of quality education, recourses such as books from Oxford University Press have been included in the curriculum.
We are dedicated to extend our efforts for creating sustainable and greater positive impact in society.
